ieGeek
Main features
Our third option is from ieGeek. This smart doorbell has quite a few features to get excited about. Perhaps the best of them is intelligent motion alert. This camera is notorious for accurately catching suspicious movements. You can choose between two detection sensitivity options (high and low) and then get a notification to your mobile device about anything out of the ordinary happening in front of your house. If you have high security concerns, then you’ll certainly appreciate this feature. ieGeek also has a relatively wide camera angle of 166 degrees. It’s enough to reduce blind spots, but there are doorbell cameras that can capture even more. Night vision is also available on ieGeek.
Use and Design
A nice thing about ieGeek is its enhanced battery performance. Equipped with not one but two rechargeable batteries, ieGeek has a standby time of 3 months! There also is an extra USB port that lets you charge ieGeek easily if there’s a need. It usually takes 6-8 hours for the batteries to fully charge, which is not that quick but if you’re not in a rush, then it shouldn’t be a problem. Speaking of design, ieGeek has IP66 weatherproof rating which essentially means that this smart doorbell can deal with harsh weather conditions with no problem. This doorbell also has a pre-installed 32GB SD card that automatically overwrites when the storage is full.
🔍 Value
ieGeek definitely has features that will get you excited. In addition to standard ones like motion alert, two-way audio, pre-recorded voice messages, ieGeek also offers better battery performance, easy video storage, and even two different motion detection sensitivity levels. It surely is a nice device; however, the camera angle is not particularly impressive and it only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi connection. If these things are no issue to you, then there is no reason why you wouldn’t love ieGeek.
